Ryan, please explain why someone who purchased an authentic Neil Armstrong SP @ $2299 and worth $4000 is an idiot?  It appears that it was a brilliant purchase.

I think he was stating the seller was a idiot for listing it that low. I'm not sure I would use those words, but I think it's safe to say it was priced below market value.

That said, even $2,299 for an item received through the mail for free 25 years ago still seems like a decent windfall for the seller. I don't think anyone "lost out" on the deal.

Yeah, I was saying the seller made a mistake in setting such a low buy it now. It worked out for both the buyer and the seller. And I should have used the word "ill-informed" instead of "idiot."

I'm having a hard time tracking it back now, but it was either in reference to the Apollo 11 signed and matted album display or the lunar surface SP with the long (fake) Armstrong inscription.
