Hello everyone!! I'm new to this site because I found a great article showing/including the last documented signed album by Legend Whitney Houston just before her tragic death. Here is the link of the article showing a picture of my album:

I own the orange album, her debut album. My reason for this blog is to find out where (other then eBay) is the best place to sell this gem. I'm in need of money because of personal issues, and want to be sure to offer this one of a kind item where it will get the best response and offers. Thank you in advance for the help!!

Sincerely, Frank!!

The guy who got them sold both on eBay, for the same price I believe.

For how much did they sell back then?

I think he got $2,500 each, but I'm not sure. At first he thought thy were worth much more.

These might be historic pieces....but $2,500?!

Wow, that´s an awful lot of money.

I would love to see how much it fetches at auction these days.

How much are you asking Frank ?

I did purchase the album on eBay!! The seller sold the other EP to someone in Australia. I wanted that one too, but glad I got her debut album because that is a classic and it's her first!! As for what I would ask for the album, it's hard to say because in my eyes with all the proof of its authenticity and the story and significance of the tragic end after this LAST signed album from a LEGEND (no matter what her problems were with drugs, as time goes on, this album will continue to increase in value!!) I feel the value is over $10,000. If you had this type of documented proof of the last signed album of music stars of the past that died young like Michael, Janis, Hendrix Morrison etc, what do think they would go for now that time has past???? I'm looking for feedback from knowledgable people because this is a unique item!!!

I have all the pictures (ones from professional paparazzi that was standing behind seller) to go along with the album. I also have the original TMZ episode where the story behind these 2 albums was told by the seller himself!! With all this, this is one incredible historical signed item!!! I strongly feel something like this belongs in a Hard Rock Cafe or some type of significant collection/museum!!! Considering the tragic way her life ended, make this album and when/where it was signed, one amazing collectible!!!

You may want to consider one of the big auction houses for something like this, I agree it belongs in a museum.

I think you should bypass the autograph hobby and talk to organizations and clubs she was associated with. To those with interest, $10,000 isn't out of the question.
