Michael Jackson drawings (Miscell inc. 'Historic portraits' and 'Disney characters')

I'm noticing a sudden influx of MJ signed Michael Jackson drawings coming on to the auction market, which seem to share the common themes of either 'portraits of historical figures'  or 'Disney characters'.

Both of these themes are of course recognised from Michaels' drawings both at a young age and later in life, but it is interesting that so many new drawings are being released on to the market at the same time.

 It seems that forgers are (or were) selling 'MJ signed tambourines'!  (Where is the 'facepalm' emoji when you need one?)

Original black felt-tip pen sketch of Peter Pan by Michael Jackson. The drawing shows the King of Pop's hero, Peter Pan, the boy who would never grow up. Measures: 21 x 29,7 cm (8 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches) The drawing is signed in black ink in the bottom right corner and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Circa: 2000

 An interesting 'MJ drawing' offered on Invaluable, starting at $1800 but estimated much higher ($4-6k). No provenance or other details given, rather unsurprisingly.

The signature is reminiscent of another 'MJ signed drawing', sold by the same California auction house and recently re-sold (p134 of this thread refers).  Comparative images are attached.

 It's especially interesting to note that the 'MJ signed' drawing appears to have many similarities with an image created by a modern artist who creates copies and prints of old animation drawings, for sale.  This modern artist first offered his version of the young MJ dancing in September 2015....

One previously sold drawing also mentioned an MJ  Mickey Mouse drawing in the description, but did not show it.

I am amazed that this junk is still being sold!  This Mickey Mouse is the same one that i got suckered with by Simon Parr years ago!  Whew!  By the way, where is this scumbag operating at now?  Under an assumed name, I bet.

 A  new 'bearded man' sketch on ebay, asking $11,999 Canadian.  A lot of high valuation claims are being made for this item in the description. 

The 'provenance' is given as 'Rare and Signed 2012'.
