LAWRENCE OF ARABIA signed photo ---- THIS CRACKS ME UP!

Some time ago I purchased online a ballpoint signed photo of Peter O' Toole in character as Lawrence. It took me years to find an authenticated vintage one of him in this role.  At the time I purchased it, I downloaded my seller's supplied clean image that had been online to keep for my files.

Today I was looking at O' Toole signed photos on eBay and found the same scan of my signed photo listed as Peter O'Toole Autographed Signed 8x10 Photo Reprint.  The scan for the original that I own did not have a watermark... but the reprint scan made from mine does have a watermark.

Nothing like protecting what you've pinched! They've probably watermarked it so that others can't copy the copies they're selling for $8 a pop. Oh well, at least they have good taste.

Anybody else have this happen with something from their collection?  No ill feelings, it actually amuses me.

Etienne, Every Sunday I check for "sold" on the internet. More free exemplars, that might pass for my library, that have at least passed TPA's . Always the more for the merrier for comparisons. You know what I mean……..  "Lawrence" was a favorite of mine. But "Beckett" was the best with Burton….Again not at hand……but If collected from the lockbox, I will post……and it is vintage. I like to show what I mean…….not just talk about what I cannot prove……In my humble opinion.

Yes, I for one am certainly looking forward to when you open your treasure chest here!

Now, Very soon.
