Sam Bradford (Heisman Trophy winner 2008) Home Address

I would like to write a personal letter to Sam Bradford. I know that I can send a letter either to the University of Oklahoma or to the St. Louis Rams to have these two places refer my letter to Sam. There's no guarantee my letter will be forwarded. If anyone out there has an address where I can reach Sam, I would be most appreciative. I requested the same information for Heisman winner Mike Rozier and someone came through for me.   Joe Galiardi, author, Hooked on…

Mike Rozier's home address

I want to write a personal letter to Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier. I've been told that he and his family reside in South Jersey. That's all I know. If anyone out there knows how I can get in touch with Mike, I'd be most appreciative.  Joe Galiardi, author of Hooked on Autographs

Morgan Freeman

I collect autographed golf balls as a hobby. I would like to get movie actor Morgan Freeman's autograph on a golf ball, but need his home address. I know that Morgan is an avid golfer. Even if someone knows where Morgan golfs, would help me. Appreciate any help I can get from Autograph Magazine subscribers.  Joe Galiardi, author, Hooked on Autographs.

"That's What Friends Are For"

In chapter 14 of my book, Hooked on Autographs, I offer 10 suggestions for novice autograph seekers on how to obtain autographs. Number 7 tip is don't forget about asking friends to help get sought-after signatures. I practice what I preach.

I was visiting my sister, Rose, in Maryland last month. Rose's late husband was a major general in the U.S. Army and was the Commading Officer of Walter Reed Army Medical Center until his…

Collecting Signed Golf Balls: Tricks of the Trade

As a lifetime collector starting at age seven, my passion for the past two decades has been collecting autographed golf balls from best-loved golfers, famous Hollywood entertainers, notable sports stars, and U.S. presidents. I claim to have one of the largest and most diversified collections of autographed golf balls in America with over 300 inscribed balls in my bag.

Luckily, I've had a pretty easy time in getting celebrities from all walks of life to sign golf balls, but I have run…

Lawrence Welk

Signed golf ball #252 will soon be added to my unique autographed golf ball collection. A friend played with the late Lawrence Welk many years ago and had the famous band leader sign a golf ball for him after the round. I now have twenty-three signed golf balls from entertainers such as Bob Hope, Clint Eastwood, Jack Lemmon, Ray Romano, Jack Nicholson, John Denver, Kevin Costner, and Regis Philbin, to name just a few. The entertaining and interesting stories behind many of my celebrity… Continue

How one autograph changed my life for the better.

On October 25, 1989, at the inaugual Transamerica Senior Championship, golf legend Arnold Palmer signed a golf ball for me. Arnie's autograph launched my collection of not only signed golf balls, but many other golf memorabilia items displayed in my golf room at home. My golf balls collection count is over 240 and growing practically by the week. Arnie's autograph golf ball begat my collection that begat my recently published book, Hooked on Autographs. I am receiving e-mail from all over the… Continue

PGA Tour Golfer Contracts Regarding Signing Golf Balls

Today I attended a practice round at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. As a collector of autographed golf balls for the past twenty years, I stood outside the fence at Pebble's driving range waiting to pick out my targets. Standing next to me was a lady with her 5-year-old son who was there for the same purpose -- to obtain autographs on golf balls. When I got there, the little boy had two signed balls. One from actor John O'Hurley and the other from another actor, Don Cheadle. I saw… Continue

Hooked on Autographs

Enthused as a young child collecting comic books and signed baseball cards, I have spent the last twenty years collecting autographed golf balls. I claim to have one of the largest private collections of signed balls in the U.S. I have written a book that offers a firsthand account of my passion for seeking signatures on more than 230 golf balls. The title of my book is Hooked on Autographs. In my hobby memoir, I introduce readers to the behind-the-scenes excitement of tracking down celebrities… Continue
