I'm glad the card got to you ok. It looks like the seller might have a bunch of items Hillerman responded with for through-the-mail requests...but it is interesting that he has so many of them. It is possible they are pre-prints.
I probably did buy from him before...I just looked through his NHL autographs and they all look good and well priced.
Looks great, great price, buy it quickly!
I just checked...I have 6 Magnum cards signed by Mosley, and 10 signed by Manetti. I think Mosley has a hard time signing...he tends to make a bit of a mess with his signatures.
I bought the Hillerman from a TTM collector who wrote to him about 10 years ago. I have only seen one other Hillerman signed Magnum PI card....and someone beat me to the Buy-it-now!!
Hi, Vic. Here is a scan of some of my Magnum PI signed cards (I have over 60 now. I'm trying to put a full 66 signed card set together) including the only one I have that is authentically signed by Hillerman.
The two eBay Hillerman cards from seller barryjanvrin are 100% fake, and it looks like everything else he sells is also 100% fake. It's scary to think he has over 11,000 feedback....that's a lot of fake autographs floating around.
The Wiggins collection Hillerman autograph is absolutely authentic, in my opinion....but WAY overpriced. It is worth around $30 to $40, at the most. It is a very nice example of his signature.
