I have a sign baseball by Mickey Mantle and other 9 Yankees from 1960's. Can anyone tell me if these signatures are real/ I am interested on selling it. Most of the signatures are players but  i found one that is from a coach, and two of them havent been able to find who they belong to. Please i would appreciated your expertise on the subject thank you.

signatures are authentic, although not signed in the 60's. likely at an old timers game from a later period.

Beautiful ball.  I agree with Terrier on the period.

Thank you . Does the value of the baseball decreases because it might have been signed at a later period.

I did some research and the baseball wilson little league i found out was made in the 60s . it might be a good chance that it was from the 60 s. Another point is that one of the signatures is from a coach Tommy Ferrara. thats another possibility that it was sign during those year from a regular season game.

Rod, that Mantle was not signed in the 60's.  another possibility is that it was signed at an old timer's game. how else would you explain Hank Bauer, who last played with the Yankees in the 50's, and Curt Blefary, who didnt play with them until the 70's. Im not sure what you have in mind for "value", but this is not an official ball, and while the Mantle is a nice 80's example, I would be surprised if this ball is worth any more than 250.

"Mantle's last "unofficial" home run was in 1973 during the "Old Timers" game with Whitey Ford pitching. Mantle hit the home run in the original Yankee Stadium with 46,000 spectators in attendance".

I found this out could this have been the Old timers game you were talking about. I appreciated your insight by the way.

cool!  the important thing is that the signatures are all authentic, with a very nice Mantle, Ford, Tresh, Murcer.........a very nice piece of memorabilia to have.
