I’m so excited to share this latest acquisition. A rare sheet of 8 x 10” letterhead from E.M.I. Records Abbey Road Studio beautifully signed by all four of The Beatles and also by Jane Asher and Petula Clark. It has been authenticated by Frank Caiazzo. Frank has dated it to the spring of 1967 when the Beatles were in the midst of recording Sgt Pepper’s. My other sets are from 1963 and 1964. I’m very happy to now have a set from 1967, an era from which sets are comparatively rarer.
I’ve never seen anything like this. Amazing! What’s its provenance?
Oh... and congratulations!
Can you show a full picture of Frank’s LOA with his signature. I must admit the signatures do not look genuine to me and if I saw this at auction I would have passed on it.
fab432, with the mention of fraud postings on eBay by people taking other people’s images off the internet, I was reluctant to post entire LOA’s. If everybody thinks that isn’t a concern, I will post it. BTW, I purchased directly from Frank and it came with his usual signed letter of congratulations, signed LOA, assigned appraisal and signed receipt.
Good point Marc. I should have phrased my first comment better. Congrats on finding a 1967 set but it’s just not one I would have been interested in. Less competition ha ha.
I trust Marc 100% but I’ll call Frank to verify it because I appreciate collectors who don’t want to take anything for granted, Fab432.
Steve, that would be great. Let us know what he has to say.
Frank confirmed that hhe sold the autographs to Marc and issued the LOA.
I'd have to agree with fab432. Despite all the evidence presented, these signatures don't feel right to me, either.
Wow..... What a fantastic set you have procured. You must be over the moon!
Duuuude. This is so rad.
im literally sick with jealousy.
