I have it out BAS for quick review. Does Grad look at all BAS quick review Ruth’s that come in

JSA is good. 

As far as I know Grad is shown any Ruth that isn’t obviously fake.

1933 Yankees spring training photo. The OP example paper could be in the 40's time period, though it looks like its been sprayed with a preservative. I'm curious if the signature ink matches the photo dye/ink under a black light.

Since BAS couldn't render an opinion that relieves two of my concerns: whether it's a known preprint, and whether the look of the autograph itself is likely genuine. I think it looks right but I'm not a Ruth expert.

You probably can inspect it yourself in person and determine if its a live signature and whether or not it's lacquered. Once you're comfortable with those aspects, send it in for authentication.

If it's lacquered it's still a nice buy at $1,000 IMO.
